This is Knighton Cottage

Knighton Cottage is the original stable house of Knighton Lodge, dating back more than 200 years. Having been extended twice by previous occupants, the property had been unmaintained for the last 20 years and fallen into a very poor condition.
In order to identify ALL the issues, we had to take the property back to brick. We then restored its wonderful character, giving it another 200 years for a family to enjoy.

A rare blend of character charm and modern practicalities was the vision for this project. The early Victorian home, dating back approximately 200 years, was part of the original Knighton Estate and, over six months, was lovingly restored to its rightful heritage. Upon entering, you are welcomed by rich hues and a Victorian-style mosaic tiled floor – the entrance hall really sets the tone for the rest of the house, which has been marvellously renovated with sustainable British design. On the first floor, there are five good-sized bedrooms, all neutrally decorated and laid with New Zealand wool carpeting. With exposed-brick styling, the master bedroom and en-suite are unforgettable, and the family bathroom features a roll-top freestanding bath.
The home benefits from a huge 42-foot kitchen/family room, which is flooded with light from the French doors leading out to the south-facing garden. Recently landscaped, the garden is bordered by a lovely stone patio, simply perfect for entertaining.
